Building Passive Income in a 401k is absurdly slow compared to Tardus Wealth Strategies

I’ve been building my passive income through Tardus for 1.5 years now. I just had my half-year review this month. My Wealth Coach mentioned how much easier it is to accumulate passive income through Tardus as compared to a 401k.

In a 401k, the general rule is you can withdraw 5% of your holdings and the 401k itself will grow forever.

Now for the part they dont tell you: how large do your holdings have to be!

Let’s just say you want to retire on $5,000 per month in passive income, or $60,000per year. OK, so to safely withdraw that amount, $60,000 would have to be 5% of your holdings. Mathematically:

  • 5% times X = $60,000
  • 0.05 * X = $60,000
  • X = $60,000 / 0.05

Therefore X is $1,200,000. You read that right:

You need 1.2 MILLION DOLLARS in your 401k to provide yourself a retirement income of $60,000 per year

Now, let’s say you are saving $850 per month into a non-matching 401k (the one Whole Foods gives their employees/slaves). You would need 1400 months before you would have $1.2mm bucks!!!

that is 117 years. I mean I know you like your job, but do you want to work there 117 years?!

Now let’s take me in Tardus

I’ve been in Tardus for 1.5 years, putting $850 of my leftover capital into their wealth strategy. I have $1,700 per month coming in…

I’m on track to have 5k of passive residual income in 6.5 more years

At my stage in Tardus, the $1,700 per month I receive is best put back into Tardus’ cashflow processes to build the income snowball until it becomes self-sustaining… a 5 or 10 year process.

Tardus can do WAY MORE with $850/mo in savings because of The Power of Leveraging Debt

In a 401k, you are depositing hard cash. In Tardus, we aggressively leverage debt: I started with $4,000 of debt in year 1 and now I’m borrowing $8,000. I pay it back within 1-4 months… but the investments I buy with the debt pay me for 2-3 years or more! So my income snowball develops tremendous momentum. I’m going to be moving up to borrowing 12k of debt and beyond within my 2nd year in Tardus.

1400 months for $60,000 annual passive income or 120 months for $60,000 annual passive income

If you want to put $850/mo away into a 401k so you can retire 117 years from now, be my guest. I’ll keep building my Tardus Income Snowball ™ and reach my goals within 5-10 years.

  1. In your 6.5 year plan, does that include purchasing rental properties along with the fast burning fuel or are you only going to be investing in fast burning fuel to get to the $5,000 per month passive income milestone?

    1. For me, it would only be fast burning fuel. But each person’s path in Tardus is different based on their risk appetite and preferences for investment.

That’s why it’s good to setup a strategy session with a coach and they can go over options with you. – https://linktr.ee/mymoneymagick
